**OFFICIAL SELECTION: SXSW Pitch-a-Thon 2020 From award-winning writer/director comes Wild Combination, an episodic series that explores the complexities of navigating sexual identity, mental health, and friendships in the modern world. Freshman-year friends Emma, Calvin, and Paul have fallen out after Paul’s hospitalization for severe depression, and decide to get a fresh start by road tripping together from Los Angeles back to school in Chicago. As they travel cross country in an attempt to re-bond, the group quickly finds that a year apart has revealed significant cracks in their friendship, and that their unique differences, initially celebrated, may in fact be irreconcilable. A coming-of-age story for the current generation, Wild Combination seeks to comment on the intricacies and difficulties of modern friendships, and speaks to the uncertainties and anxieties of our times.
